Felicia Lasmana, MSc

Felly, as Felicia is affectionately called by friends and colleagues, was previously a Project Manager at Daemeter Consulting. Armed with more than eight years of field experiences, she regularly traverses across forests and other natural landscapes as part of biodiversity surveys related with agriculture, forestry, and mining sectors, specializing on bats and other mammals.

Felly focused on biodiversity sharing data and information mechanism (Biodiversity Clearing House Mechanism/BCHM) of West Java for her Master of Science from the Padjajaran University in Bandung, Indonesia. She completed the degree under a scholarship from Indonesia’s Ministry of Education in 2008. Her Bachelor’s degree was in biology, with bat pollination as her thesis subject, from the same university.

Felly is an RSPO-approved High Conservation Value (HCV) assessor and one of the first to provisionally get licensed by the HCV Resource Network. She is also an RSPO Lead Auditor and an Indonesian Sustainable Palm Oil (ISPO) auditor. Felly is active in various organisations outside work and was one of the nine winners of the Young Caring Professional Award from Martha Tilaar in 2013.
