Fauziah, or Oje as she is affectionately called by colleagues and friends, joined Daemeter Consulting as GIS Specialist after graduating from the Forestry Faculty of Bogor Agricultural Institute (IPB) majoring in GIS and remote sensing. She focused on spatial distribution estimation of above ground biomass on dry land forest for her thesis.
Fauziah had worked as an independent surveyor and GIS analyst during her studies, including in projects covering forests in West Java, Central Kalimantan, and Papua provinces. She was also involved as an assistant in training programs for geographical information system for government officials. Before joining Daemeter, Fauziah worked in several projects with the private sector, including PT Hatfield Indonesia.
