This brief presentation provides an overview of a technical methodology developed by Daemeter for conducting environmental risk assessment of palm oil mills. The method combines numerous, up to date environmental risk parameters to identify mills located in neighborhoods where risk of environmental impact is higher than elsewhere. Such mills are not "high risk" per se, but are prioritized for deeper study and/or direct engagement as part of NDPE policy implementation programs.
