This document presents a comprehensive methodology developed by Daemeter to determine the Deforestation and Conversion Free status of palm oil volumes. The approach is designed to address the complexities and varied nature of the palm oil industry, focusing on estates, direct supplying farmers, and aggregators as the key sources of fresh fruit bunches (FFB). The method is premised on using data derived from Daemeter's traceability portal, satellite monitoring of estate or concession boundaries, or certification status.
