Daemeter assisted PT Pilar Wanapersada in conducting full assessment of High Conservation Value areas in their oil palm estates, as part of the company's compliance with the RSPO standards for sustainability.

PT Pilar Wanapersada (PWP), a unit of the publicly-listed DSN Group, has committed to achieving compliance with the RSPO standards for sustainability throughout their plantations. In line with this commitment, the company initiated study on biodiversity and ecological management across their estates.

Daemeter conducted the full assessment of High Conservation Values (HCV) in PWP's areas and made management and monitoring recommendations based on our findings from the survey, which took place in Lamandau and Bulik sub-districts in Lamandau District, Central Kalimantan Province in Indonesia. Results of these assessments and HCV management and monitoring plans will be used to ensure the maintenance and enhancement of HCVs present within the plantations.
