Daemeter is reviewing the Danida support to Harapan Rainforest, with a focus on sustainable financing, business planning, community partnership and stakeholder engagement.
Daemeter is providing technical support to a review, commissioned by Danida, Denmark's international development agency, in relation to Danida’s assistance to Harapan Rainforest Ecosystem Restoration Concession (ERC). Danida has been supporting the Harapan Rainforest since July 2011, aiming to contribute to a significant CO2 net emission reduction from Indonesia’s forests while stabilising co-benefits such as biodiversity, and livelihoods.
In the review of the programme, including current status of activities supported by Harapan’s partners – RSPB, Burung Indonesia and Birdlife International – Daemeter is focusing on sustainable financing, business planning, community partnership and stakeholder engagement.
