Daemeter researched and wrote several case studies of some best practice among Indonesian palm oil producers to demonstrate progress in mitigating some of the social, biodiversity and emissions-related impacts of oil palm.

Daemeter researched and wrote six succinct case study reports on palm oil sustainability in Indonesia, each addressing an area where notable progress is being made by leading members of industry to improve performance and mitigation of social, biodiversity and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions-related impacts of oil palm. Much of the information provided in the case studies is not widely known outside industry, and in some cases outside the firms themselves that are profiled.

We aim to make these success stories and related technical information more widely known in the industry and among actors in government, civil society, and the donor community to achieve Indonesia’s vision for oil palm as a driver of rural and national development, and a global leader in agri-business sustainability.
